How to connect a garden shower to water?

The simplest way is to connect it to a standard garden hose with a connector: a quick-start solution, ready in fifteen minutes. Ultimately, it's worth installing a permanent water connection with drainage (to an absorption well, drain, or sewage system), which any plumber can do. Our installation team can perform the connection as part of the installation service.

Can an outdoor shower stay in the garden for winter?

Yes — thermowood and solid construction are designed for year-round conditions. Before frosts, you just need to cut off the water supply and drain the water from the system to prevent freezing water from damaging the fittings. The shower itself overwinters outdoors; winter swimmers also use it in December.

Can hot water flow in a garden shower?

Yes. Simply run a hot and cold water connection from your home system to the shower, just like to a regular tap. Hot water is particularly useful with a sauna and pool when the season lasts from spring to autumn, not just during heatwaves.

Will the wood not suffer from constant contact with water?

Thermowood is made precisely for this purpose. Thermal treatment closes the wood structure, so it does not absorb moisture like raw spruce — it does not swell, rot, or require annual varnishing. It just needs to be wiped with oil from time to time to maintain its deep colour.
